A theme is worked on in two hours: plum blossom, birds, waterfalls, mountains …. The classes are small, we paint step by step and are adapted to all levels. So you can attend whether you are just starting out in this technique or you are already a great amateur. No previous knowledge is necessary. They end with some final works on each theme. The teacher is Japanese, has a Sumi-e teacher’s certificate from the International Sumi-e Association in Tokyo and has been teaching Sumi-e courses in various art institutions in Barcelona and other cities in Europe since 2013.

The materials used are included in the course and selected to teach correctly and in a traditional way the Japanese Sumi-e art: brushes, ink, rice paper, Japanese Ganzai coloured paints among others.

When all the introductory programmes are completed and all the final works of each subject are presented, you will receive a certificate of completion and move up to the advanced level course.

It takes place in Barcelona or other cities in Catalonia, Spain, Europe and other countries.
