In my 30-minute session, I’ll introduce you to Sumi-e, the art of Japanese ink painting. You’ll learn three foundational brushstrokes and how to use them to create minimalist subjects like bamboo, cherry blossoms, birds, and Japanese maple. I’ll also cover materials and include a bonus video on painting birds in different poses.
This challenge is a beautiful opportunity to overcome creative blocks, explore new techniques, and bring more creativity and joy into your life.
